16. Enlighten

The Enlighten festival in Canberra runs for about two weeks. Fortunately, I was able to see something of it before coming to Melbourne to fly to Darwin and lucky for me, Eleanor knew where to go. It was such a great night, weather wise and enlighten reminded me a bit of White night but was a lot calmer, having plenty of people but fewer crowds. Apart from inside Old Parliament House, which was teeming with people and was holding a scavenger hunt event. It's such a great building!




There were two distinct areas (close by) each with their own bands playing. This one seemed a bit more alternative. The first song I heard was about getting drunk. I think the other area had more suitable music for families.


I loved the name and the beer was alright too 😉
